Meet the Staff
Mike took over as owner of Archbold and Lewis Insurance in 1998 from his father, Autie. He and his wife, Tonia, married in 2002 and have two children. On the weekends, they ride their motorcycles, or spend time outdoors.
Mike is a volunteer firefighter with the Ossian Fire Department. You may see him at some youth sporting events, such as Wells County Swim Team, Norwell Soccer, or Baseball. In his off time, he is a competitive shooter and racquetball player. He says the ultimate World Series would be the New York Yankees and the Chicago Cubs, his two favorite baseball teams.
Joe is a part-time producer, full-time American Hero. He has been in the military since 2004, starting in the United States Marine Corps and currently in the Indiana Air National Guard. Also a Lewis, he is Mike’s nephew. Joe is married with seven children, and he enjoys being involved in all his kids extra curiculars
He and his wife, Ashley, are the ONLY married couple on the Ossian Park board...ever. He’s “a little obsessed with sports”. Some of his favorite teams are the Chicago Bears, Cubs, Blackhawks, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, and the Houston Rockets. When he does have some down-time, Joe enjoys shooting, working out, and reading.
Amber began her insurance career with us in 2022, we lose her one weekend a month and two weeks a year as she is also currently serving in the Indiana Air National Guard. This busy lady doesn't quit at 5 either because if she is not helping you with your insurance or saving the world...she is running to dance class with her daughter or taking their dog on a walk. Such is the life of a giver. Figures she is Friends Fan.
Amber excels in customer service and has a heart of gold. Just the kind of person you want fighting for you!
Alyssa is licensed in all lines of insurance that we offer. You may remember her going through the Ossian Days parade with her junior dragster. She doesn’t drag race anymore, but still enjoys watching races, snowmobiling, and just about anything that keeps her busy.
Speaking of busy, Alyssa is married with children...her little boy sure keeps her busy and loves his Mom...she is also about to be busier....shhh.. Alyssa is always willing to help people. She is an active Ambassador with the Wells County Chamber of Commerce and volunteers with various organizations throughout the year.
Christina has lived in Wells Co for 15 years. She have been in the insurance business for 5 years, married for 15 years, and her and her husband have four boys. They have a son attending his 2nd year at Kankakee Community College on a baseball scholarship and a son now attending IUPUI for a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science. "I still haven't adapted to the empty nest thing, but I'm thankful to have our other son still at home with us for a few more years."
Her husband is an avid hunter and the owner of Sportmen's Wildlife Taxidermy, Bluffton and they have 2 beautiful grandchildren. "I've enjoyed spending a lot of my spare time over the years attending high school sporting events. I like to relax at home and spend time with family and love to spoil my grandkids! Shopping online has become my forte. Helping others is a great thing to do! It's how I was raised and I love applying that to my job here at Archbold & Lewis, Ins.! I love working in our community and connecting with others."
