Meet the Staff
Mike took over as owner of Archbold and Lewis Insurance in 1998 from his father, Autie. He and his wife, Tonia, married in 2002 and have two children. Not quite empty nesters but getting close. On the weekends, they ride their motorcycles or spend time outdoors.
Mike is also a Captain with the Ossian Fire Department, not only can he save you from your burning home, but he can save you money on your home insurance! You may see him around town, he has only lived here his whole life, usually smiling, usually helping someone... In his off time, he is a competitive shooter and racquetball player. He says the ultimate World Series would be the New York Yankees and the Chicago Cubs, his two favorite baseball teams.
Joe is a part-time producer, full-time American Hero. He has been in the military since 2004, starting in the United States Marine Corps and currently in the Indiana Air National Guard. Also a Lewis, he is Mike’s nephew. Joe is married with seven children, and he enjoys being involved in all his kids extra curriculars.
He and his wife, Ashley, are both in the military...saving the world and saving you money on your insurance. He’s “a little obsessed with sports”. Some of his favorite teams are the Chicago Bears, Cubs, Blackhawks, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, and the Houston Rockets. When he does have some down-time, Joe enjoys shooting, working out, and reading.
Kari joined our insurance family at the end of 2023, but she has been a member of the Lewis Family her whole life...she is Mike's niece. Kari is married to Edwin, the Head Chef at "Marquee at the Landing" together they have 4 kids that steal their time and heart!

Kari is the Smile Ambassador at the Ossian Office, always ready to help with any insurance need you have. She really knows her stuff, she's not "Nationwide" but she is definitely "On Your Side" Family comes first with her, but the New York Yankees are a close second!
Fun Fact...Kari was a server in Connecticut for several years and has waited on MANY famous people but none taller or more regular than #23 himself...Michael Jordan.
Amber began her insurance career with us in 2022, we lose her one weekend a month and two weeks a year as she is also currently serving in the Indiana Air National Guard. This busy lady doesn't quit at 5 either, because if she is not helping you with your insurance or saving the world...she is taking her daughter to dance class, going to a basketball game or maybe just taking their dog on a walk. Such is the life of a giver... Figures she is Friends Fan.

Amber excels in customer service and has a heart of gold. Just the kind of person you want fighting for you if you have a claim!
​Alyssa is licensed in all lines of insurance that we offer. You may remember her going through the Ossian Days parade with her junior dragster. She doesn’t drag race anymore, but still enjoys watching races, snowmobiling, and just about anything that keeps her busy.
Speaking of busy, Alyssa is married with children...her little boys sure keep her busy and love their Mom... Alyssa is always willing to help people. She is active with the Wells County Chamber of Commerce and volunteers with various organizations throughout the year.
Christina has lived in Wells County for 20 years. She has been in the insurance business for 10 years, married for 20 years, and her and her husband have four boys, with only one is still at home. "I still haven't adapted to the empty nest thing, but I'm thankful to have one son still at home with us for a few more years." Christina really knows her job well, highly detailed and quick. If there is a way to save you money on insurance, she will find it! Just the person you want watching out for your best interests.
Her husband Troy is an avid hunter and outdoorsman, together they have 4 beautiful grandchildren. "I've enjoyed spending a lot of my spare time over the years attending high school sporting events. I like to relax at home and spend time with family and love to spoil my grandkids! Shopping online has become my forte. Helping others is a great thing to do! It's how I was raised, and I love applying that to my job here at Archbold & Lewis, Ins.! I love working in our community and connecting with others."
